How do you make a canned food drive interesting? Start with a theme and make sure all of the canned goods are green vegetables.

Students from All Saints in St. Peters launched ‘Go Green for St. Pat’s’ to collect the vegetables to donate to St. Patrick Center. The drive brought in 1,100 cans – enough to create a huge shamrock!

St. Patrick Center provides opportunities for self-sufficiency and dignity to people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. The nonprofit helps individuals and families develop positive, permanent changes through safe, affordable housing, mental and physical health, employment and financial stability. St. Patrick Center provides services in the city of St. Louis and St. Louis County. The Supportive Services for Veteran Families program provides services in Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Francois, Warren and Washington counties.
