KISS’ Gene Simmons arrives April 9 to present scholarship donation

Rock ‘n roll legend and KISS front man, Gene Simmons will appear at Rock & Brews St. Louis in Chesterfield at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9. He will present a Rock & Brews scholarship donation to Henry Cobb, son of wounded Army Specialist Danny E. Cobb, on behalf of the local veterans’ organization, Folds of Honor, and to greet fans.

Henry Cobb is currently a freshman at Lindenwood University in St. Charles. His father, Army Specialist Danny E. Cobb, was injured in the line of duty.

“The sacrifice that our nation’s veterans and first responders make for our communities and country is unparalleled. I am humbled to present this scholarship to the child of one of the many heroes who have put their lives on the line to protect and serve our nation.” Simmons said.

Folds of Honor is a 501(C) (3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled in combat while serving in the United States armed forces.

Folds of Honor is proud to have awarded more than 7,500 scholarships in all 50 states, as well as Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, including more than 2,000 in 2014 alone.
