Access to some Lake Saint Louis streets may be restricted during the replacement of concrete slabs and curbs, starting in March.
City officials say the streets will be open but construction may constrict some traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the work week. Residents who have no access to their driveways because of concrete panel street replacement will be given at least 48 hours’ notice before construction begins.
Street parking during construction will be prohibited. Residents who may be away from their homes for an extended period of time are asked to move their vehicles into their driveways or make other arrangements to store their vehicles.
The work will take place on Chase Drive, Fox Hound Court, Grey Pine Court, Hawks Landing Drive, Pelican Court, Pine View Court, Royal Pine Court, Sailmast Court, Scarlet Oak Court, Scarlet Oak Drive, Silver Leaf Court, Stone Falcon Court, Waters Edge Court, Wingspan Court and Burgundy Drive [curbs].
The annual program is funded by the city’s half-cent capital improvement tax approved by city voters in 2013.
Questions regarding the program or required accommodations for individuals under the Americans with Disabilities Act should be referred to Bob McSpadden with the city’s public works department, at (636) 695-4221.
