St. Peters police seek suspects in five vehicle break-ins in Timberridge, Hermitage subdivisions

St. Peters police are seeking suspects five vehicles were reported broken into overnight on Aug. 31 in the Timberidge and Hermitage subdivisions.

Break-ins were reported between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on the first block of Pear Tree Court and the 3800 blocks of Silver Ridge and Hermitage, according to Melissa Doss, community relations officer for the city.

Doss said a number of items were taken, some of them in plain sight, including two laptop computers and money, from locked and unlocked vehicles.  She said the city is still seeking information and suspects in the case.

Doss said vehicle break-ins in local subdivisions are rare.  People are asked to lock their vehicles.

Anyone with surveillance cameras that may have captured images of the thefts or have other information are asked to contact the St. Peters police Crime Solvers hotline at 636-278-1000.
