To the Editor:
The killers in Paris were designed to die. Thus when we catch a live one, his organization knows the caught one will sing like a canary. They always do, giving away all of immediate targets such as Brussels. So we can expect an immediate response of attacks.
Why announce a live one has been caught?
By not announcing one of the Paris killers has been captured our intelligence efforts at least will have a window to track down the canary’s song. Even one day’s advance knowledge might have prevented the bombings in Brussels. If the terrorist organization believes their man is dead, they may postpone a future attack. If they believe their man is alive as in the present case, they will react with haste.
