The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has issued charges against O’Fallon resident D’Shawn Keller for two incidents in May 2015, according to a recent press release.
In the first incident on May 6, four people saw a person exiting a vehicle in the 1300 block of Apple Valley Drive. That person was latter identified as Keller. The four were located inside an open garage and reportedly saw Keller point an object at them. They fled inside the residence and, according to the release, heard gunshots. Police later recovered fired bullets and spent shell casings at the scene, but the suspect remained at large.
The second incident occurred on May 25. O’Fallon police officers met with a woman at the police station in regard to a domestic assault. The victim reported that she had been punched in the face multiple times and choked. Again, the suspect remained at large.
Keller, now in custody, is charged with two counts of 1st Degree Assault, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, and is held on a $200,000 bond. He also is charged with one count of 2nd Degree Domestic Assault, for which he is held on a $50,000 bond.
