Wiegmann Associates has added Wentzville resident Nicholas Andell as project manager and Ashley Campbell, of St. Peters, as project engineer. Andell is responsible for managing new and renovation HVAC construction projects; Campbell is responsible for developing conceptual engineering designs and calculations, specifying HVAC equipment, and producing drawings for permitting and construction.

Andrew Weltz, independent branch leader of Charles Schwab’s O’Fallon branch, was selected to participate in a Fireside Chat with the organization’s founder and chairman, Charles R. Schwab, at a conference held in St. Francisco in May. Weltz won the opportunity as one of the company’s first independent branch leaders.
The Expert Realty Company, a full-service real estate firm based in Lake Saint Louis, recently presented a $1,300 donation to Variety The Children’s Charity of St. Louis. Robert Hussey, owner and broker of The Expert Realty Company, has pledged to donate ten percent of the firm’s monthly commissions to a charity nominated by their clients.

The Battlegrounds, St. Louis’ only permanent mud run obstacle course, recently held its sixth bi-annual race, raising $1,000 for The BackStoppers. The Battlegrounds also collected 480 pairs of racing shoes for donation, with proceeds benefitting The BackStoppers.

St. Louis based Hilliker Corporation recently assisted with a sublease transaction for a Fuzzy’s Taco Shop location soon to open in St. Charles. The location at 2412 West Clay St. across from Lindenwood University, will be the restaurant’s fourth in Missouri.

Savers, a thrift superstore chain with more than 330 locations, recently opened a new store at 1920 Zumbehl Road in St. Charles, celebrating with a ribbon cutting on August 6. The store is the fourth in the greater St. Louis area and will continue a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri (BBBSEMO). Savers pays BBBSEMO for all goods donated to the nonprofit at the store’s on-site Community Donation Center, as well as for donations picked up at area homes by BBBSEMO.

Augusta Wine Company, comprised of Augusta and Montelle Wineries, recently was awarded 60 medals plus three Best of Class honors and a Best Varietal overall award between the Mid-American and Missouri Wine Competitions held in July. The MAWC included wines from 12 Midwestern states; the 2015 Missouri Wine Competition comprised a total of 270 wines from wineries located statewide.
