Nex Generation Jewelry, LLC, located at 4229 North St. Peters Parkway in St. Peters, recently celebrated its name change and grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Owned by Melissa and Joe Howe, Nex Generation Jewelry offers fine jewelry, loose stones, appraisals and on-site jewelry repair.  Hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.





Kristi Gordon, of St. Peters, has joined HOK as a marketing coordinator. Gordon most recently served as a business strategist at Staples Promotional Products; she holds dual bachelor’s degrees in graphic design and communications from the University of Missouri.

O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Erin Williams and Greater St. Charles Chamber of Commerce President Scott Tate have successfully completed the third year of a four-year nonprofit leadership program offered through the Institute for Organization Management, the professional development arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Tiger Docks’ new company video was featured during the month of July on O’Fallon TV, the city’s government video channel. In the video, Tiger Docks President Nick Davis helps to tell the story of the 20-year-old company, which custom engineers boat docks and other waterfront construction projects and is a distributor for boat lifts and other marine products.



Prasino St. Charles Executive Chef Tony Marchetto recently was honored with a 2015 Produce Excellence Foodservice Award from the United Fresh Produce Association. Marchetto, who received his award in the Fine Dining category, was among an elite group of seven chefs nationwide to receive the award.

Meghann Davies, founder and owner of The Morgan School located in Dardenne Prairie, received the July Business Spotlight Award from the St. Charles County Economic Development Roundtable (EDR). The monthly award is based on criteria such as economic impact, entrepreneurial success, job growth, and civic involvement. Other local organizations receiving Business Spotlight Awards this year include Reckitt Benckiser (RB), Etrailer.com, Phoenix Metals Company, Northrop Grumman – Cutting Edge Optronics, and the Missouri Department of Transportation – St. Charles County Division.
