Expanding in St. Charles
The Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce and the City of St. Charles recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Patterson Mold & Tool, celebrating the company’s new 10,500-square-foot addition. Founded in 1978, Patterson Mold and Tool services the die cast, injection molding, and aerospace industries, from small repairs to complete design and build of large dies. The $4.4 million expansion is expected to add at least 19 new jobs.
Gershman Mortgage has promoted that Dan Main to vice president, overseeing day-to-day operations and loan production at Gershman’s St. Peters office. Main has been with Gershman Mortgage for two years, and has over 18 years’ experience in the mortgage industry.

St. Charles Community College President Ron Chesbrough, Ph.D., recently was elected as Missouri Campus Compact (MOCC) Executive Committee chair. MOCC seeks to create and expand engagement through academic and co-curricular programs, to advocate for public policies that support community engagement, and to enhance the commitment to higher education’s civic mission.

Michelle Bennett has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alliance Real Estate as Vice President of Relocation. Bennett has more than 18 years of real estate experience, previously serving as relocation director for Laura McCarthy Real Estate.
Employees of St. Charles-based 1st Financial Federal Credit Union recently volunteered at a Habitat for Humanity build site in St. Charles County, helping with painting and other projects. Through its “Helping People 1st” grant program, the credit union also held a basket raffle during the month of May and presented a check totaling $719.19 to Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County.

Radwell International, also known as PLC Center, is the world leader in industrial repair, surplus, factory new supply, and asset recovery services. Radwell’s new St. Charles facility joins others located in New Jersey, Indiana, North Carolina, Texas, the UK and Canada.

Owner Julie Swaney recently celebrated the grand opening of her new business, LimeLight Events, with a ribbon-cutting. Located at 1378 South 5th Street in St. Charles’ Three Flags Business Center, LimeLight Events can accommodate groups up to 50 people in its 1,000-square-foot event space.
