The Dardenne Prairie Board of Aldermen now has its full complement of six members with the appointment of Elliot Stipes as a Ward 1 alderman.
Stipes was recommended to the board by Mayor David Zucker, who previously held the Ward 1 seat. He will serve until next April, when the aldermanic term expires.
Stipes, of the 100 block of Derbyshire Lane, is president, chief executive officer and founder of Green Clean Commercial, a national green commercial cleaning firm. He also is president of the Villages of Bainbridge Homeowners Association and has lived in the city for 11.5 years.
The board also approved the appointment of James J. Mutz and Thomas Shea to fill two vacancies on the planning and zoning commission. Mutz and Shea filed the only applications for planning and zoning commission seats.
Mutz, of the 400 block of Parkshire Place, is a a retired Citigroup manager of information technology, who currently serves on the city’s board of adjustment.
Shea, of the 1200 block of Pinnacle Pointe Drive, is retired and serves with the Pinnacle Point Homeowners Association
