The city of O’Fallon has scheduled two forums to allow residents and business owners to offer input on how to make the Hwy. K/Hwy. M corridor more accommodating for cyclists and walkers.
City staff will be joined by the project contractor for the Hwy. K forum on:
• Wednesday, April 15 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Renaud Spirit Center, 2650 Tri Sports Circle in O’Fallon
And for the Hwy. M forum on:
• Thursday, April 16 from 4-7 p.m. at the O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), 100 North Main Street.
Although the overall focus of each forum will be on a different segment of the corridor, both areas will be discussed at each forum and residents do not need to attend both forums.
The forums are part of the ongoing O’Fallon Connected project, which is focused on improving connectivity throughout the city’s most popular corridor. The Hwy. K/Hwy. M portions of this process will focus on developing a Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvement Plan to better integrate pedestrian, bicycle and automobile facilities along the corridor.
Residents and business owners also can give their input on the topic through surveys on the city’s website www.ofallon.mo.us.
