The St. Johns Bank’s Board of Directors has promoted Brad Muhlke to executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Christina Branneky-Dean to senior vice president-retail and internal support services. Muhlke has held several positions in a 17-year career with St. Johns Bank; Branneky-Dean, the great-granddaughter of bank founder Walter H. Branneky, has been with the bank for 19 years. St. Johns Bank has area locations in St. Charles, O’Fallon and St. Peters.

Facilities Coordinator Nancy Conover has announced her retirement from the Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service, after 31 years of dedicated service to the nonprofit. Glenn Korando has joined the care service as its new facilities coordinator.

O’Fallon-based Tiger Docks has added Lisa Ellis to its sales department. Ellis’ background includes over 20 years in residential sales in various home-related industries.

Murphy Company has added Michael Bildner and Christopher L. Pruitt as refrigeration project managers. Bildner holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Missouri State University, is a USGBC Growing Green Community Champion and is a certified Building Performance Institute Building Analyst. Prior to joining Murphy Co., Pruitt served as a project manager with Servco Equipment. Pruitt holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Southeast Missouri State University and an associate’s degree in pre-engineering from Mineral Area College.
The Cuivre River Electric Community Trust presented Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) with a $4,400 grant at the recent GKAS bi-annual clinic held on Feb. 20-21. The grant funds will be used to provide free dental care to underserved children. Through Operation Round Up, the trust has supported GKAS with more than $13,000 in grants since 2006.

Neighbors Credit Union, with an area location at 4745 Mexico Road in St. Peters, donated a total of $13,547.21 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN) of Greater St. Louis in 2014. The donation was the result of several fundraisers, including a bake sale, paper balloon sales, Six Flags ticket sales, holiday money envelope sales, employee dress down days and other events. Over the past 18 years, Neighbors Credit Union has raised over $146,000 for CMN.

The Community Council of St. Charles County, in partnership with the St. Charles City-County Library District, hosts the OnTarget Technology Conference on Thursday, April 9, in the Community Commons meeting room at the Spencer Road Library in St. Peters. The conference will explore how business-focused planning can help organizations use new technology more effectively and cost-efficiently, and also will include exhibits by technology vendors.
