Caring and sharing: Mosby Building Arts kicks off annual toy drive

When it comes to happy kids around the holidays you can never start too early!

Mosby Building Arts has begun their collection for the annual St. Louis Children’s Hospital Toy Drive and they aim to fill one of their box trucks with toys for the children.

From now until mid-December, Mosby is collecting toys, culminating in a Stuff the Truck event on Dec. 13 from 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. at the Mosby office, 645 Leffingwell Ave. in Kirkwood.

Stuff the Truck will feature live broadcasts of both Mosby radio shows – Scott Mosby’s KMOX broadcast of “The Mosby Building Arts Home Improvement Show,” and Rich Layton’s 97.1FM show “Right At Home With Rich.”

The Meltdown food truck will be on site selling gourmet grilled cheese and soups. And raffle tickets for fabulous prizes will be handed out for every toy donated.

“We are so grateful for the support of Mosby Building Arts and their efforts to bring smiles and cheer to our patients,” St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation Vice President Janice Bailey said. “The holidays are especially difficult for our kids and their families, so these generous donations really make a difference.”
