St. Charles’ own Foundry Art Centre, has activities for all ages on tap this November.
Nov. 7: Sentimental Journey Dance Band. The concert starts at 7 p.m.; tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance.
Nov. 11: Canvases & Cocktails, a laid back painting lesson is from 6-8 p.m. This class is open to all adults, regardless of experience, and invites you to bring your favorite drinks and have a good time. Cost to register is $35 per person. All supplies are included.
Nov. 13: The exhibition Given Form opens. Given Form explores the different forms of sculptural media. The opening starts at 6 p.m., is preceded by a gallery talk at 5:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Nov. 15: Mommy & Me and the Nutcracker Tea is from 2-4 p.m. This festive tea party/ballet performance features Dance Project STL and Common Thread Contemporary Dance and is sure to get everyone in the mood for the holidays. Tickets are $25 per adult and $20 for children 12 and under.

The Foundry Art Centre is a fine arts gallery overlooking the Missouri River at 520 North Main Center, in the Frenchtown district of Historic St. Charles.
The Foundry features a Smithsonian-caliber art gallery hosting national juried exhibitions plus 20 working art studios where visitors can watch the creative process and buy art directly from the artists. The not-for-profit art centre also provides community meeting rooms, event space and a children’s art gallery.
