Lutheran High names new coach

Michael Wilhite has been named as the new head boys and girls soccer coach at Lutheran High.

Wilhite is a graduate of St. Dominic High, where he was a four-year starter on the Crusaders’ state championship soccer team. He also played at Maryville University, where he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing.

Following his playing days, Wilhite served as an assistant coach at both Duchesne and at St. Dominic, helping both programs win several state championships.

Currently, Wilhite works in the early childhood center in the Kirkwood School District. He and his family reside in St. Charles County.

Andrew Nelson and Allison Patton will assist Wilhite as assistant coaches.
