The month of July was a busy and productive one for several West County and St. Charles County area prep basketball players.
Several area players performed quite well during the July evaluation period and as a result gained new offers from different schools around the country.
Zach Glotta from Fort Zumwalt North has been polishing his skills with the Gateway club this summer and Glotta, a 5-foot-10 senior guard, recently picked up an offer from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee.
6-foot-8 Zach Steinberg from Lafayette is busy playing with the Missouri Impact this summer. Steinberg offered a scholarship from the U.S. Naval Academy on Tuesday (Aug. 6).
There were also three CBC players that have attracted the attention of college scouts in recent weeks.
CBC junior forward/guard Christian Willis (St. Louis Eagles) has turned in an outstanding summer on the hardwood and has picked up offers from Eastern Illinois and Illinois State.
Jordan Barnes (St. Louis Eagles), the Cadets do it all 5-foot-10 junior point guard has received offers from SIU-Edwardsville, Missouri State, and Arkansas State.
Duane Clark (St. Louis Eagles), a 6-6 junior power forward for CBC has been offered a scholarship by Arkansas State.
