With life expectancy rising, more and more adults are in need of assistance as they age. McClay Adult Day Center is designed for older adults who can no longer manage independently, or who are isolated and lonely, as well as adults with disabilities facing similar issues. McClay encourages socialization while still receiving needed care services. It also provides caregivers a break from care-giving duties while knowing that their loved one is in good hands.
McClay Adult Day Center utilizes a proactive and preventative approach in their programming. They strive to maintain an optimum level of physical, cognitive, spiritual and social wellness. They enrich the lives of their participants by evaluating the needs of each individual and finding ways to build on interests, skills, knowledge and abilities.
The professional staff is dedicated to ensuring participants receive quality nursing and memory care services, geriatric services, therapeutic recreation activities, exercise programs to promote wellness, dignified assistance and support with personal care needs, nutritional meals, educational programs, music and movement therapy, pet therapy, outings, transportation to offsite locations and so much more.
Participants join McClay Adult Day Center for a variety of reasons, including the need for health monitoring, medication supervision, rehabilitation from surgery or illness, Alzheimer’s disease, disabilities or the desire for recreation and socialization opportunities. The staff’s passion for providing quality care sets the center apart from the competition.
McClay Adult Day Center offers a win/win situation for everyone in the family, not only for the participant who attends the program, but also for the family member who has primary responsibility as caregiver.
