Jennifer Rohrbach owner of The Goddard School for Early Childhood Development in St. Peters recently celebrated the school’s grand opening with a ribbon cutting. The school is located at 700 Old Salt Lick Road. Joining in the fun were the Goddard kids, St. Peters Mayor Len Pagano, Christa Montgomery with Sen. Tom Dempsey's office, and St. Peters Chamber Ambassadors.
The Villages of St. Peters recently opened at 5400 Executive Centre Pkwy., in St. Peters. St. Peters Mayor Len Pagano, members of the city’s Board of Aldermen, and the St. Peters Chamber Ambassadors, were joined by many other guests to celebrate the opening with a ribbon cutting and reception. Susan McLenahan, executive director of the Villages cut the ribbon to commemorate the event. The new lifestyle community offers assisted living and skilled nursing teams, rehabilitation services, as well as memory care assistance.
The Missouri National Education Association (MNEA) recently celebrated the grand opening of its new St. Charles County facility at 1011 Peruque Crossing Court in O’Fallon, with a ribbon cutting.
The Community Council of St. Charles County will host its monthly Network Luncheon from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 6, at Stegton Regency Banquet Center.
Participants may learn about some of the resources available from the faith communities in the region. The panel of presenters will include: Brian Potts of Restore St. Charles, Matt Grube of Discovery Church, Ryan Redding of Morning Star Church, Debbie Nash of Send Me St. Louis, and Dan Rubery of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. “A Call To Action on Jobs, Housing and Transportation” will be presented during a breakfast buffet to be held from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the St. Charles Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Plaza, in St. Charles.
During the event presentations will be made by Bill Emmons, supervisory officer and economist of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and by Greg Prestemon, president and CEO of the Economic Development Center of St. Charles County. Visit the customer service desk on the upper level JC Penney wing to drop your donation of food items. Your support will help the food banks, which serve as the distribution centers for pantries and soup kitchens, where families can come for free food.
